Some students in Key Stage 4 will be invited to study an alternative pathway. This will involve studying a reduced number of GCSE options, with extra time being devoted to English and maths. Students on this pathway will also be able to complete an ASDAN qualification.  At Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge, students follow the ASDAN Award Scheme for Personal and Social Effectiveness (PSE). This qualification is designed to develop competencies in communication, collaboration and emotional intelligence for learners working at Level 1 and Level 2.
